Good luck. I've tried for 3 years to get a solid commitment for the Supermoto crowd. It is a great crowd, but man, if you are wanting to rely on a solid schedule for the race aspect, forget it. Many a time of thinking I was going to show to race and find out there weren't enough people and they decided to do an open practice had me tired and drained.

Such a fun sport, but it was enough to make me buy another road race bike and go back to that sport. Sucks really because Supermoto is SO MUCH CHEAPER and the traveling was well less than road race...

yes i agree supermoto is much more affordable than road racing. road raced my sv 650 back in 2000-2001 and juast track fees alone would bring you to your knees. I love the sport, I by myself couldn't stay in it. thats why i'm going to supermoto even if they dont race anymore we can still have fun on open practice days.

I'll be there on my NSR63... Need some seat time with all the new motor mods I did over the winter.

They're talking big bike motards - not the XR100 sized stuff... Usually the big bikes do their own practice sessions as they are faster and they want to use the dirt section.

I might be down a few times with ol' Scruggs and the KTOOM motard this season. Maybe...

There will be plenty of days that pop up now and then for track days just watch here or go to www.supermotojunkie.com in the Local Ride Alerts section. I think I rode there about 10 times last year for open practice days which were a blast. We have a regular group around columbus, quite a few from Michigan and a few from Cincy area that come out to play...no racing though. Someone someday will step up and do a good job of getting supermoto racing going down there but as of right now there is nothing.

I made it once the end of last year and had a blast. I'm sure I will at least double that this year! :2peace2:

The rules have changed for 2007, I can now race my NSR with the 63cc kit on it in F1 and F2! F2 was changed to allow up to 64cc two stroke air or liquid cooled motors and 128cc 4 strokes.
You are right, I'm not allowed to race it in the NSR50 cup anymore since it isn't stock... I won the Cup championship last year, time to move up and see what the NSR can really do.

And Lizard 1, I'll still go out there when they aren't running the drit section. I'm sure I won't be the only mini road race bike there, as I've got a few guys that will be coming with me as well! ;)
