View Full Version : "Outing" for Saturday, 28th August
I am planning on going to the British Days in MiamiTOWN and then hitting the Oktoberfest at the Germania Society in the evening. (Brushing up my German. :D ).
Don't know about time and place to meet yet. Depends on who wants to come along.

Mark me as probable.........
Should be able to make it as I don't think I have anything going on that weekend.
Or should I say I should be able to make at least part of it........ ;)

"bump"
I still plan on going. Some time Saturday morning, depending who wants to come along. A good meeting place would be Frisch's at Wards Corner (as usual).
Unfortunately I can't head over to the Oktoberfest straight from there, but have to make a detour via home in the afternoon (Jerry!).

I think I can still do the ride in the morning.
Not sure if I can do Oktoberfest or not in the evening....

Anyone interested in going to a big SWAP meet being held in Springfield, Oh.
Nice little ride, about 60 - 70 miles one way, from Kings Island.

Last time I was there if you wanted to build a HD you could but anything else you where out of luck.
OK, it's set. I am definitely going. I want to see if I can find a few things at the swap meet. I have my eye on a couple of things.
I plan on leaving at 9.30 am from Montgomery.

Whenever. I do have to be back in the afternoon (Jerry). I mean, if you do need to leave earlier than rest of us, no big deal.
It's about a 45 min. ride for you back home I would think.
After talking to a few people, this is the deal:
leaving 9.30 am my place

Nope... I ususally show up eventually. ;)
Ok, guys, this is very short notice, but I can't do anything about it. I just had a call from someone and I need to be in Florence at 10 am. Trust me, this IS important. Otherwise I wouldn't do this.
So, go ahead without me. I might catch up with you later in Miamitown or not. I have most of your mobile phone numbers and I will try to get hold of one of you to let you know.
I doubt it since I will have to go back home, get changed etc. etc. I don't think I will be back home before noon.
The plans for the evening haven't changed. Unless it's pouring down. Then it's not much fun riding over to the Oktoberfest. But I am sure we will something else to do.

Ok....... New meeting place?????
Roger, I really don't know when I will get out of there. Sorry. You know me, if it wouldn't be really important, I wouldn't do that.
I mean, you guys could still all meet at my place (in my driveway) at 9.30 am. Just don't drive Jerry nuts. ;)
Like I said, I doubt it that I will be going to Miamitown at all. I don't think I will be out of there before noon. Then go home, change etc. etc.
I am not going anywhere today. No bike show. No Oktoberfest.
I can't. Sorry.
