Off to Branson, MO

I'll be leaving around 7am this morning for Branson, MO for the Internet BMW Riders (IBMWR) rally. I'll be taking the boxercup for it's first long ride (not the Dakar after throwing something at Mike :bootyshak ). Regrettably I won't be able to make TWT this week, I actually have to work 2 days this coming week :eek: . Next week Mike and I will be heading to Alabama for the WERA races. God, I love riding season:D

Ron & I went to the Louisville BMW Club meeting for the first time -theirs is the 2nd Tuesday of the month. Great group...and only communicate by email ...about 100 active members. Have fun this weekend.

Back from Branson and the Ozarks. I did 1500 miles on the Boxercup without any problems. Saturday Bob Malehorn (Mentor, Oh, BMW K1200RS) Kent McDonald (Wichita Falls, TX, BMW K1200RS) and I rode around the Ozarks in Arkansas at warp speeds. The S bike hung without a problem and I felt very comfortable in the riding position and handling. My right wrist is a little sore but that's my fault for not taking my throttle rocker along. Since the WERA races have been cancelled for next weekend I'm thinking of a quick ride to Deal's Gap on Friday-Saturday staying at the Best Western. Anybody interested?:D

I picked up my stamp from Wilson's Creek National Battlefield on Sunday. I was there about 9:30 a.m. ET. Wilson's is just around the corner from the Ozark. Sorry I did not know you were in the area!
