Anyone interested in going to Circleville on Sunday 1/9? The weather is going to be abnormally warm, 55 and sunny. Come on, I know some of you guys have some cabin fever. Lets make it happen. Buff, Jimmy D, Mark, Dave, or anyone else?

Mark Beckner is in. I just talked to him a little bit ago. He was able to replace his header pipe after the last round at CRP. I'm itchin to try my new gearing.

Talked to to Steve @ CRP and he is going to open the track between 10 and 11. Did all of the Superbikers hibernate for the winter? I love replying to my own thread. :ssmoker:

That's awesome. I'm not a racer or anything but I'm in need of some more photography practice before the start of the racing season and that'll be perfect. I'm just 30 minutes down the road and maybe I can get my baby out for a ride as well. Hope you don't mind me hanging around with my new camera. :D

That sounds great. We should be there around 10:30, so by the time we suit up, it'll be 11:00. Hope to see you there.

So, they can have cake & you can come to the track. I'm sure they will save a piece for you. Is there a problem with that? :what: :D

Davey - I think you should take advantage of the warm weather. If you eat a bunch of cake, you might be slower come spring time. :nono:

Wish I could make it down to run a few laps........need to blow the dust off the bike and me.
You might want to call and check the condition of the track on sunday before heading this way. Up here in the Columbus area we have been soaked(flooding)......IR71 was closed for about 12 hours, under water on the southend of town. Just tonight(Fri) I heard on the news that areas of Circleville were flooded......and since the track sits so close to the river.....might want to double check before heading out.
Hopefully it will be open........have fun guys!!

When I talked to Steve he said since the track sits on a slope it has never had a problem with flooding. He said the majority of Circleville is under water. Come on, take advantage of the weather and stay in tune for this upcoming season.

Hey guys, it was great meeting you both and thanks for being my "subjects" for today. A HUGE THANK YOU for letting me ride your SX, Quik110s. As I'm sure you could tell after I got done riding that thing, I'm hooked. That was SUCH a blast and I want one now. :cry It sucks bein' broke. In all honesty it is different but comparatively just as fun as a track day.
Anywho, here are some photos I took. I still have a ton to learn with that damn thing and can't wait to get my lens, that's going to make a huge difference.
Thanks again, guys, you rock! :thumbsup PM me if you'd like some more photos. I'll send them to you!
Nothing like having the track all to yourselves on a 50 degree sunny day, huh? :D

Thanks guys. A couple of those angles I'll never be able to get in a race, I was actually sitting on the pavement on the inside of the turn. :D Quik got one of me on his bike. I think he'll be posting it eventually. I'm probably going to look like a bafoon on his bike. What is a bafoon anyways? Is that the proper way you spell bafoon? :p So much fun though, I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who has never tried it. Sometimes I wish I didn't have such an open mind to trying new things and then I'd stop falling in love with so many different activities. I need to be rich for all this.
I think you have done an excellent job considering it's a brand new piece.
Like I told you on Friday, I always like seeing your pictures. And then, photographs are art - and art is never good or bad - it's subjective (?). I had someone telling me some time ago about someone's elses vacation pictures "Aren't that the most crappiest ones you have ever seen?". I didn't agree since the person who took the pictures saw things differently through the lens than that idiot would do.

I don't know man, how you fell just didn't make sense. Have you made any heads or tails of it yet? Maybe the hole you dug in the track will make a great reference point for someone. :p Bad attempt at humor, I know. Hope the wrist isn't too bad and you don't have to go see the doc in a month. :D
I'll post more to my photo website and send you a link so you can download whatever ones you like. Give me a day for that, I gotta weed through the million I took. ;) I don't want to clog up this thread for those that probably already hate that I stuck seven pics in here if they are on dial up.

Nice shots Steph!!!
If I would of know about this I would of taken the YSR out for a spin, since I'm only about 35mins away from the track. AHHHH, now I need to check back at this place every day now.

Didn't know it was back together, I'm sorry I didn't call. I was too excited to get to ride my bike that I didn't think about anyone else. Yeah, I know, I'm selfish. :D Won't happen again. ;)
