I just had to share that I finally get to ride a track outside the Mid-West this Saturday during Femmoto 2005. :jamout I'm so stoked, I can't stand it. Although I must say it's very strange to go to a track day via an airplane AND without MY motorcycle. :uhh: Weird! Femmoto is a normal track day but it's nothing but women and you demo bikes all day long. I plan to get some one on one action with a ZX6RR...I sooooo cannot wait! I've been drooling over that bike since I saw it at the Cleveland show in January.
Anyone have any pointers on that track? I've never been on a NASCAR/road race course before. Not that I'll be going nuts on a demo bike, on a track I've never ridden before or anything. ;)
Have fun. I wish I could join you girls! Be careful and come back safe!!!!

Have an awesome time and come back with lots of pictures. I have visited the track and it is pretty cool. Wow demo bikes! What a great time to visit Vegas this time of year too! Viva Las Vegas Baby! :icecream:

So how was the Las Vegas Femmoto event? It would be awesome to demo bikes on a track not to mention not having to haul your own bike. I have to wonder though if there are 150 people there do you get to spend enough time on track and do you get to ride the bikes you want?

It was a pretty good time. Definitley one for the story book. I got to ride a Tuono, Firebolt, 636, Z1000 and a ZX10 in 15 minute sessions each. I loved the ZX10 the most. So smooth and my first time riding a liter bike. I hafta say that it was pretty weird going to a track-demo day via an airplane having to take all my gear and stuff. It wasn't set up like a normal track day or anything, it really was just a demo day more than anything. Seeing so many chicks there was cool and crazy at the same time. Some of them used it as their first track day which I don't think was the best idea given that so many were not even comfortable on their own bikes, let alone riding on a bike that didn't belong to them on a track they had never ridden. That was a bit much but for me it was a perfect chance to ride a bunch of bikes that I would never have another opportunity to do so that was great! :D
Something you don't see at normal track days (not that I care to see it again...shiver) was when a girl stripped down buck nekkid at the end of the day and rode her bike (she had it there for the next day's track day that was scheduled) around the entire paddock. The funniest thing (other than when she stopped and dropped her bike) was seeing all the guys haul a$$ across the paddock with their cameras. Now THAT was funny!
Oh and I lost $50 on the roulette table AFTER I had three chips on my favorite number (19) and it hit. Damn! I'm going back next month to get revenge on that damn roulette table. (Unless it gets my name again!)
