I am wondering if there is anyplace around Putnam that could mount and balance tires late Saturday afternoon. I usually make a bee-line straight to the track and have no idea what is in the area. :uhh:

Why not have tires mounted and ready to go before you get there?

(In heavy chinese accent) Great point, grasshopper. This one very wise beyond his years. Eventually, he may learn dat in racing, preparation is half de battle. However, he could save um many time if he pay for spare wheelset.

Of course, is asking a lot from young novice, but soon learn he will...

Thanks for the help. I think. At the moment, my tires are good. I'm just not sure what kind of shape they will be in for day two. I'm getting tired of pulling good tires off and buying new ones every track-day. Besides, riding bad tires may be a good learning experience.

I will just take my tools. If I need to, I can do it myself. The hotel staff is gonna crap when they see my back rim in the ice machine!

Or, it can land you on your head coming out of 10 or banzaing into 1...Of course, it would be a learning experience - of what NOT to do...
