How'd that happen? Did the bike fall off the stand or was the Crazy Mad Sand paper monster out scufing the sides of everyones tires?
Good job!!! Does this mean no more yellow shirt for you at Putnam this fall then? :thumbsup

I don't know how it really happened. I just did it. I thought I give it a try and see what happens. :D I had a perfect run every single time. No screw ups whatsoever.
I think I am still going to wear the shirt. :thumbsup Just so that the ones behind me SEE me and don't run me over/into me.

congrats Vera. it's always easier to do when you arent TRYING to do it. I bet a year ago you never would have imagined riding the bike you have at the speed you were riding it.

I don't even know how fast (as in mph) I was going. I was riding as fast as I was comfortable, which was pretty fast for me. I could have pushed it even further, but it was already early afternoon, it was a hot day, I was getting tired, and I still haven't made a full recovery from my surgery. So I decided to call it quits and go home knowing I had a perfect run instead of screwing up and getting hurt.
You should have seen Dave and "Pa". These two can ride!!! Hats off!!!

Vera was so tired that she collapsed into my arms when she saw me :lol
I did verify that those chicken strips were indeed devoured with a side of ranch dip! :jamout

hehehehhe!!!! Poor Vera barely made it back to our house. I'm sure Marty felt the same way but he was comfortably ensconced in his 4 wheel cab.

Vera
Now you can never replace those tires, you will have to stop riding. :-)

Gee, Whatever would you be talking about?
Safety 1st I say. Definately didn't feel up to speed on 1st practice.
But Hey, went on to finish 2nd in my race. I'll never hear the end of it. I'm surprised it took this long to pop up somewhere.

Do we already have a date? I want to make sure I won't miss the registration and I need to find someone who can trailer my bike this time.
