Newest toy

My latest toy is almost finished. Started it 2 years ago after my last leg issue.
60" wide, 2,000 lbs, 158 hp 4x4 hi/lo transfer case
Powersteering and Brakes, automatic, heater and A/C?
Started out as a really nice Chevrolet Tracker
Making easy-off doors and a soft top for it as well.

Cool! That looks like a whole lot of fun! The A/C will make August outings a little more bearable!

It is amazing how still the air is behind the windshield at 50
The heat and AC actually are very effective.

Pretty cool indeed. Is 60" a modified width? (I guess yes)

The original track is 57 but I'm running a little wider tire.
Eliminating wrap around bumpers and body panels does a lot for width reduction.

Not sure that is safe.

You should loan it to me for the summer to test it's safety for you. :)

Did some real testing with it today. It performed well beyond all expectations.
Best man toy ever.

Well I've put about 2k miles on it so far. This thing is incredible.
Best project I have had to date. I have one sold and a group from Michigan talking about wanting several. Still working out the top and door issue.

I just started a business venture that is almost more than I can handle.
www.groomers.supply
Selling dog grooming equipment and sharpening clipper blades.
Partial retirement is wearing me out.
