WOW-- we posted at almost Ed Zachery the same time!!

They are-- aren't they?? I stayed up late Saturday talking with the only American ever to win the IoM and a bunch of old flat trackers. The story's!! It was great. Getting a trophy kiss from two hotties wasn't too bad either! Funny how things go. You walk around a virtual nobody-- in awe of some of the legends you read about "back when" and, now, they know your name and give you the thumbs up as you head out onto the track. In the end, legends or not, they are all just regular people with an odd hobby. Real people-- good people, doing what they enjoy. It really doesn't get any better. I was pitted with some folks from Massachusetts (more or less, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Connecticut too). A bunch of side car people. The "monkey's were all women (the youngest was 40) and did they ever put on a feast!! Korean Spare Ribs? BBQ chicken, Peruti and cream cheese (no idea what that was-- but it tasted good!) Kush Kush (WTF??) salad, Pasta salad! Beer!!!!! Those damn New England liberals sure can cook!!
Sunday morning came way too early!

Re: AHMRA experience

I was planning on running over for a little bit Saturday evening but with all the chaos that happened on the north track I never got a chance to. What a day. Good to meet you Thom. Sorry I had to cut our conversation short and run to the riders meeting. Great job Bob!

No problem good to meet you too. They weren't even going to let me down there, I told the guy checking for passes that I'd be quick. He took my license so I'd come back soon.

That'll be great! I'll spot Tom easy enough but, just in case I don't, try to look me up. I intend to be on the top tier, on the left if you were on the track looking towards the pits.
It would be a good idea to come visit me near dinner time. The sidecar people also normally pit there. Kristen and Bob put on a feast (she owns a catering business I think). The plan is, sit close with only water and crackers for dinner and look pitiful.

Re: AHMRA experience

Greg,
Dave Matthews (SoS/BoT 43X) needs someone to pick up a canopy in Columbus to take to Barber.
Can you help??
Anyone coming to Barber from or passing through Columbus?

Could you pick-up an E-Z UP in the Dublin area?

A six-pack of your favorite beverage for your efforts.

Call me at 704-737-0664.
