Re: any word on bluegrass?

Without sarcasm I wouldn't be nearly as attractive to the ladies.

About BG, I said it earlier, and this is not my first rodeo, but unless this place is bought by a big hitter for pennies on the dollar (AKA, KY speedway and Brutin Smith) it won't happen. All it's worth now is the land and the ground work, the pavement work is toast for the most part. It's going to cost millions.

Re: any word on bluegrass?

Saw this over on Cincy Sports cars forum:
"Without going into all of the nasty details that led to a resolution that the parties can live with I can tell you is that as of February 24th the project is back on track with a closed loan and funding stream to finish the project as planned."

That's what Kurt told me back in March-- and, they were proceeding like a herd of turtles.
Other people say it's on the way to the auction block.
Anybody hear anything new?
Anybody know-- for sure??

THIS JUST IN:
from the AHRMA board

I have an update. Can't reveal the source but the news for Bluegrass is good The track has been used since the closure for some unofficial track days. My source advises that the last coat of pavement will go on later this month. They may not have any buildings and the place may look abandonned from the roadway but some people have been on it. 8-)
Then-- over on the WERA board, Monte says:

I've heard absolutely nothing. Someone needs to ride by and see if there is any evidence of equipment using the access road. I recently talked to a friend that should know if anything's going on and they didn't know anything either. Last I heard the road was washed out. Good excuse to take a back roads ride out to the area.
