Re: Cycle Options at Putnam Oct 2-3

I will definitely be there. Wouldn't miss one of the Cycle Options Weekends. After doing a few race Weekends and track days with other orgs. It will be great to get back to Cycle Options. I will be trailering up with Rob if you need any help with tech in the mornings.

From what I have heard there is a big group from the Junkies as well. I have helped set up at least a half dozen bikes for riders who are planning to go.

Re: Cycle Options at Putnam Oct 2-3

I sure would like to go but, the season Finale is the following weekend at Barber. My luck would be to blow the motor (it's close) or dump it.
I've put a whole new front end on the bike off a CB550. That'll tighten up my rake/trail and let me hold a tighter line. I'm chomping at the bit to try it out and this would be a perfect opportunity-- but, like I said, with my luck............ I'll just have to wait and try it on Friday's practice (the 8TH) at Barber. With any luck, I'll end up 2ND in the nationals and 1St in the regionals.

The only thing else I'm going to do (besides have a back up motor ready) is lace an 18 inch rim (a rear rim off the parts bike) on the front for Daytona. Doubt I'll drive to Cali or Oregon so look for me-- the rolling traffic cone-- at the spring meet!

Can't thank Cycle Options enough-- had a great time last spring.

Pre-registration for Putnam has been extended to Sept 17th in an effort to keep this one of the most affordable track day events in the area.
Hope to see you there.

Thinking about bringing the busted hand and the mistreated Triumph out for a jaunt....
