Harbor Freight bike lift on sale this weekend 3/8/19 to 3/10/19

picked this up for $310 with tax. sale price is $289. now I'm working proper! just a little review, you will want to upgrade the hardware. it's only 4.5 grade. which is almost butter. the washers are much too thin for the wide holes in the wheel chock and the stop. also the wheel chock is horrible! it's also off center on the lift. I will have to drill 2 new holes to move the bike over about 3". just a pet peeve. not really necessary. the tie down hooks need to be thrown out because they are also made of butter. they stripped and I wasn't even torquing on it much yet. and it's actually pretty stable with a bike on it. I didn't put my sportbike on it yet. but the little rebel was a breeze to lift up. Sure beats laying/sitting on the ground when youre over 40. all in all it's worth $289. but not the original $399. I've seen a few people on youtube complain of leaks from the pump and HF doesn't sell parts for it. so you'll have to jerry rig something if it quits working. I bought a bottle of good jack oil to replace the stock oil. so hopefully it will extend the seal life over that radioactive chinese stuff it comes with

I have one several years ago. I didn't like the clamp for the front wheel either. I bought a roll in chock, I mounted D-rings for the tie down straps.

I think Ill buy one from redline stands. the wheel chock will prevent me from removing the front wheel.

they have a huge selection. https://www.redlinestands.com/catalo...08/#motorcycle
