Since I wasn't working I only put about 2000 on my truck, but I put 12,000 on my bike.

Question Why does this thread keep popping up, when nobody has replied to it??

This is a wierd thread. It keeps popping up with my name on it, and I haven't touched it for months!?

Maybe it's the LR Ghost?

I average about 25,000 miles a year, but it was spread out between the 3 bikes I had....

Those trailer miles don't count toward the 2k-3k.

Actually, I probably have more trailer miles than I do bike miles. Let's see, 5 trips to the Gap (about 700 miles driving round trip). Riding about 150 while I'm there......

So thats 3500 trailer miles and only 750 riding miles.......

Maybe you should just arrange to have your bike stored somewhere near the gap and save yourself the trouble of hauling it down there.

But then how would I ride KY? I'll probably only get the gap in a few times next year with the racing going on......

I'm gonna go with Phil on this one.

Miles: Quality = Quantity x 10(or more)

Its not about how far you ride... Its in how much fun you had in getting there

Man... I was wondering how long it would take before someone revived this 15-month old thread. Hehe... I was just about to reply myself. My mileage is way under par this year. I'm struggling to break 10k for 2005 (I had 15k+ for 2004 and 19k+ for 2003). I will say that my quality factor is pretty high this year though. I've had several smaller trips (16 different States) rather than one really big trip cross country. Maybe next year.

Re: How many miles per year do you ride?

2005 miles

Street < 500

Race track > 5000

What does this tell ya? I think I should sell the streetbike!
