I stunt so I never buy brand new tires. I use old ones that friends of mine take off to put on new ones, or I find good near new with like a nail or screw threw it and plug it.

I will never understand the appeal of a burnout. Well, in some ways it does look cool I guess....

Other than that:
1- Bad for tire
2- Bad for bike
3- Costs money (new tire)
4- Requires no skill to do, so why try to show off?

I like the Joern's pic of the tire that is on fire though. That is something different

Require no skill?

Ever try a rolling doughnut, or even a slow rolling burn out?

Burnouts are great! Loud reving engine, hard clamped brakes, the smoke and the smell of burning rubber. What more could a gear head ask for?

So you never watched a stunt video, seen some guy drawing figure 8's with his back tire, and thought it was impressive?

I think the coolest burnout I've seen was on a starboyz video. The guy was sitting on his tank, feet off the ground, doing a few figure eights then goes directly to a nice wheelie. So much control it made me sick.

Don't fight the dark side kneedragger, imbrace it!

Most video's are pretty much the same. You can only watch people do burnouts, wheelies (any variation), and stoppies fo so long before you pass out from boredom. Heck, even kneedragging vids are only good for about 2 minutes themselves.

I like to drag knee but i also love stunting you can knock it till you tried it burnouts take a hell of a lot of skill stunting takes 10 times more skill then setting a knee down going around a corner dont knock somethin till you've actually gottin out there and tried it sure knee draggin is fun but you dont get the rush doing that as you do riding a 120 mph stand up wheelie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
