The Long Way Down Experience

It has taken me about 3 days to get through my 3-DVD set of Long Way Down. Not only does this package have 10-episodes, it has an extra UNICEF episode, and it's packed full of extras two menus deep (bonus video clips, interactive map of where they've been, photo gallery, etc). I absolutely loved every bit of it and am glad I coughed up the cash to get it. Even if you plan to catch all of the episodes on the Fox Reality Channel (or wherever you might find it), I highly recommend buying the DVDs too. It's a must-have for any motorcycle video library.

Buried in one of the bonus videos, where Charley and Ewan are saying their farewell to their bikes in Cape Town (the bikes went back to BMW), Ewan made a quick remark of "See you in South America". This seemed a bit odd to me and IMHO hinted to something more. During the show, Eve made a remark of a "Long Way Up". Ewan and Charley already had thoughts on LWD at the end of Long Way Round, so it doesn't surprise me for them to be planning the next already. I betcha in another year or two, Ewan and his wife Eve do a Long Way Up (or something similar) from the Southern tip of South America up through Alaska. Charley may or may not be involved. Just my hunch. LWR, LWD, LWU?
