Really on 600s you don't really even need to do a burnout, but maybe just a small one the first pass.

I always go around the burn out box. There is so much traction compound down you really don't need to do a burn out on a 600.

Yeah I do one the first run the probably don't the last, unless it is cold.

Let the trash talking begin.

If you are bringing your 600 you don't stand a chance.

Well the 6 is the only one that is together so Yep, that is the weapon.

I still can't believe Steve got you into turn one that last race with the gap you had on him going down the first hill at Putnam.

For a tune & test night at EW? I doubt that, but I haven't been there in a few years. Don't plan on making more than 4 runs at EW tune & test.

Re: Edgewater 4-20

Well on a 600 you really don't need the burnout unless it is lowered and setup for drag racing as they should hook up without the burnout.

ALL BIKES NOTICE

Unless you are at Edgewater for a race do not go there with your bike. They are the most worthless bunch of A-holes to bikes. Hell I think cops are nicer to bike then this place.

I got there at 5:30 and made the firt bike run around 6:00 our next run was around 7:30 or so when there were cars makeing 2-4 runs between our one.... They marshall even told one biker that the owner was there and to make sure the cars go their runs. I left around 10:30 tonight and the bikes had only done 4 runs.

I will no longer be going to edgewater, and will only do KilKare or Tri-State.

Rumor has it Chris that you let some computer nerd on a 1998 KAWASAKI 600 beat your 2003 GSXR?

You were warned. I didn't go into any further details yesterday, I figured I would let you guys experience it for yourself. Tri State and Kil Kare age good places for test & tunes, although in the past Tri State really hasn't done any track prep on t&t days. But they are NHRA beginning this year, so that may change some things. In the past I have done 14 passes at a tri State test & tune day!
Edgewater's $10 for spectators for a t&t night is also a rip-off. $10 is the spectator cost at a regular Kil Kare race day. Tri State & Kil Kare only charge $5 for spectators at test & tunes. Kil Kare is also having Two Wheel Tuesdays (bikes only!) every other Tuesday night. Check out their website at www.kilkare.com.
