Before I watched this video, I immediately answered this question by saying "Yes! Christian Pfeiffer is better.". ...then I watched the video. Hehe... I saw him at the 2005 Vintage Motorcycle Days. That guy is Super-Human.

Re: Is there a better stunter?

Funny. I saw the title of the thread and immediately though of Christian Pfeiffer as well.

Until Chris showed me the video, I didn't even know this guy existed. Frickin incredible!

Never heard of him, but then again I think stunting is fairly boring, not exactly my cup of Tea if you know what I mean.

That video doesn't really show just how good the guy is. It's 5-1/2 years old and I guess you can say he's a lot better now. Hehe.... He's not just a stunt God either. While freestyle is his trademark, he also competes in tons of other events (hill climbs, scrambles, enduros, etc) and wins at everything too. He won the Erzberg 4 times. He also holds a few World Records for various stunts.

Re: Is there a better stunter?

Cool thing is that he was doing it before it became hooligan. Saw him on a BMW full dresser doing stuff and was just left with my mouth open in disbelief. He makes these stunt guys at these competitions look silly.

He makes it fun and is exciting to watch.

He rocks. Saw him ride a wheelie on a BMW KLT.

I forgot about that. That was at the 2004 Vintage Motorcycle Days, right?

Wasn't he at the stunt comp in Indy for the GP race? It was in downtown on Saturday night...

According to his website, yes he was there... which is a little surprising since he fractured his L1 vertebra his back doing a backflip just 3-1/2 months prior (but then again, he did win the European Stuntriding Championship in July).

Re: Is there a better stunter?

Until I saw this guy, I put stunting in the same catagory as break dancing. Same stuff, different person. Seen one, seen em all.

This dude takes it to a whole new level. I didn't see any wheelie plates on the back-- those were real wheel stands-- virtually perpendicular to the ground (maybe even more)and all 100% back wheel.

If you ever get the chance to see him in person, you must.

The more I think about it, I don't think this was Christian Pfeiffer, was it?
