Thanks!

I can always count on Tom to send big birthday wishes and I thank you!

Thanks to the rest of you for the wishes! 56 years old....where did the time go...most spent on my scooter, I do believe. Sounds like a good plan for the future!

Re: Pink Birthday

Ang: Happy Birthday and well wishes for a speedy recovery! After today, I guess we're gonna have to call you the 6-million dollar woman? On the upside, you'll be able to limp equally well on both legs now...the downside is that it'll take you an extra hour to get through airport security and you'll be subjected to a full-body strip search anytime you travel.

Thanks

Well, it's almost been 2 weeks since the hip was replaced and I haven't been able to get to a computer until now (thanks to Lagerhead bringing me a laptop).

Thanks for all the Birthday wishes. I had an awesome birthday. Surgery was bumped from the 3rd to the 4th so I actually got to enjoy my celebration of being a year older.

Hope to see you all out on the road soon! This won't keep me down for long.

When people ask how old you are, do you say "80% of me is XX years old, 10% is a year old, and 10% of me is brand new!". ?

I have two rebuilt shoulders (love that mountain biking).

A total of 6 knee surgeries with hardware between the two of them (line dancing and clogging 4 nights/week for more years than I can count).

2 total hip replacements just because they wore out.

Now you have all the mathematical components to recalculate my age with precision.

Re: Pink Birthday

WOW! Angie! You're gonna have to change your name to something besides "bonegirl",
cause you ain''t got many "bones" left!
You may have more metal in you than they used to build the "pinkster"!

I think I ALREADY have more metal in my frame than the Pinkster!

Now I am wondering if my first outing is going to be with "icantdrive55" like the last hip.
