Edgewater Bike Night Wednesdays in 2010

I heard a rumor about Edgewater having a bike night only test & tune on Wednesdays, once a month (IIRC) in 2010 beginning in April. Website not updated yet but check that later and I'll keep in touch with my contact.

That would be cool because there arent many bikes down there on fridays test and tune and it takes forever to get to run um ?

Sweet. 'Bout time the 2-wheelers get some love. I'll believe it when I see it though.

Exactly why I go to Tri State on Saturdays. Wednesdays would be difficult for me to get to anyway.

If Dick can make a dollar it will happen. I think Kil-Kare has a drag car/bike test/tune on Thursdays, I know they do for the real track.

Kil Kare has had a bike only night once a month (I think) for a couple years. It's kind of obscure if you try to find it on their website.

I couldn't find it-- hope you're right. They were doing it once a week (on Tuesdays I do believe) in 2007-- maybe 2008 too??

I'll want to take advantage of it for some launch practice and jetting.

http://www.kilkarespeedway.com/2010%...20Schedule.pdf

Upper right hand corner of the page: 2 Wheel Tuesdays. No dates listed (I think they didn't list any dates last year also) so a phone call is probably in order. I think they also opened the speedway track for the bikes on 2 Wheel Tuesdays also. Would be nice if Kil Kare had an online forum.

I forgot about this! I have a friend who told me about this ( races 11.5 bracket stuff on his buell powered paint shaker) and just told me today about how he was in the semi-finals this past weekend in the A.M.R.A Series

I forgot about this I wouldn't mind trying to make it this Wednesday... Bikes only event!

Proper Race Equipment required Helmet Leather Jacket and gloves- Manual Kill switch
Manual Kill Switch? ...as it stock, not the deadman switch?

all you need is to drill a small hole in your kill switch and screw tiny eyebolt, use a string with a loop on the end to put in on your wrist you good to go.. just something tied to you that kills the motor if you fall off!

That's what I call a deadman switch. When they said "manual killswitch", it made me think that a deadman switch wasn't required. I guess it's just a terminology thing.

That's the way it was a while back I wouldn't think it changed any. But I did notice wearing leather pants aren't required under 130mph or sub 10's ... that requirement was loosened up
